If you like easy vegan recipes, I’d love to have you follow my journey to veganize everything! Here’s how I made them:
Sponge
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup soy milk
1/4 cup cooking oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
Mix all ingredients together, put the mix in a cupcake mold and bake at 180°C (355°F) for about 15 minutes or until golden.
Jelly
1 1/4 cups orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
Just under 1 teaspoon agar powder
Bring to a boil while stirring constantly, pour on a flat surface, and leave to set until solid. Cut into circles.
Place jelly circles on the sponge and skewer both with a toothpick. Dip in melted chocolate, then let it set. Enjoy!
